The Curious Builder Live Podcast Event with Alex Lelchuk of Lelch & The Lowlands

We are officially into Season 2 of The Curious Builder Podcast and what a ride it has been! A couple of months ago our podcast episodes went from bi-weekly to weekly and we've now released over 34 podcast episodes with many more interviews with industry leaders from the construction industry and beyond to come. It's been a busy year and our podcast community has grown, we're looking forward to some exciting things to come.

Our first live podcast event with Jackson Schwartz at Hennepin Made (give it a listen if you missed it!) went so well that I couldn't wait to host another in-person event. So, I'm excited to share some details about our upcoming event and hope that you will join us!

What is a Live Podcast Event?

If you've ever listened to our podcast you know that we have a great time! We wanted to create a place for guests to not only listen to the conversation between host Mark Williams, Co-Host Jordyn Diorio and guest Alex Lelchuk but also to have opportunities for audience participation. This is an opportunity to join in on the conversation and be a part of the podcast itself. Not only that, we will have time set aside for a Q& A as well as networking opportunities at the beginning and end of the event. We want guests to come in and feel a sense of community and be a part of the conversation we’re fostering. This intimate networking event will be a night to remember and we hope you'll leave feeling inspired.

What’s Different About This Live Podcast Event?

There are a couple of really exciting changes we've made to this live podcast event! Mark will be our usual podcast host, but this time around we'll have a co-host! Meet Jodryn Diorio, she's a Fractional COO who seeks to revolutionize the way businesses grow by implementing operational strategies and delivering transformative results. Jordyn has an awesome business story (which you can listen to here on episode 33 of The Curious Builder). I'm very excited to have Jordyn join me on stage as we interview our guest, Alex Lelchuk.

We are also THRILLED to have Mark Ostrom’s company, The Joy Collaborative join us during this event. The Joy Collaborative is a nonprofit that designs therapeutic spaces for children with disabilities or life-limiting conditions. This is a cause we can get behind, and we cannot wait to help spread their message to others in our community. They will have their Joy Mobile in front of the Lowlands for guests to check out. Mark joined us on The Curious Builder Podcast, and you can hear all about his company and their mission right here - Episode 34 - Creating Spaces to Empower Children in Need. We know you’ll be inspired!

Who is the Podcast Event Guest?

Alex Lelchuk founded Lelch in 2012 and has been taking the AV integration industry by storm ever since. He is an expert in all things AV and utilizes that knowledge to design cohesive and elegant systems for his clients through an education-based approach. With origins in the residential single-family space, Lelch has expanded offerings to include full lighting design and specification through their in-house lighting department as well as now doing 50% of their business in commercial settings. Under Alex's leadership, Lelch has more than doubled in size over the last three years and Alex plans to continue that trajectory forward.

His most recent entrepreneurial journey is the Lowlands, a gorgeous new wedding venue in St. Paul. He'll be sharing more about that venture along with his business story and insights as an entrepreneur.
